I was raised in the slums of Uganda by my single mother. My father died of AIDS when I was very young. My mother worked as a prostitute for many years, and I witnessed things no child should ever see.

As soon as I could walk and talk, my mom started using me to make money, but I knew deep inside it wasn’t right. I had to serve customers and had no one to protect me from their attacks.

Thankfully, I was eventually rescued by Alex and now live at Kabagambe Childcare Foundation. I am happy and dream of going to school to become a successful businesswoman. I want to pay it forward and help other kids so they can receive the same opportunities I have received.
