I lost both my parents at a very young age. My father sacrificed his life as a member of the military fighting for our country, and my mother committed suicide after the death of my father.

Alex found me one day wearing worn-out clothes, sitting on the sidewalk with tears in my eyes and a picture of my parents clenched in my hand. Before my parents died I was able to go to school and was happy. At an age when most children only cry for toys and ask for their favorite food, all I wanted was my parents.

Now under the care of Alex and Mum Sauda at the orphanage, I know I am brave, compassionate, and intelligent. At this time in my life all I want is to be granted the opportunity to finish school like other children.
